Centra has an opportunity for a Financial Advisor at our Washington Street location in Columbus, Indiana. The Financial Advisor is responsible for selling, educating, and counseling of investment and insurance products and services to Centra Credit Union Members and non-Members. This position can be located within the Centra Credit Union footprint from Southern Indiana to Centra Indiana. This position contributes to a positive client experience, gross dealer concession, an increase in assets under management and new clients being served.

- Drives sales production via face-to-face or virtual meetings, phone calls, emails, and strategic marketing campaigns. Talks to prospective clients and conducts client reviews to determine their expenses, income, insurance coverage, financial objectives, tax status, risk tolerance, or other information needed to develop or maintain a financial plan that is in their best interest.
- Cultivates strong working relationships with Centra Team Members, Members and in the Communities we serve.
- Delivers training and development to Centra Team Members to generate qualified referrals that lead to investment and insurance sales.
- Maintains knowledge for compliance with all rules and regulations in the financial and insurance industries.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: (Equivalent combination of Education & Experience will be considered).
- Bachelor's Degree in Related Field
- A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:
- Series 7 Securities License
- Series 66 Securities License
- Long Term Care Certification
- Life and Health Insurance License
