PPP Production Service Worker - Off Shift

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Under the direction of the Product Manager, the Production Service Worker, works in a clean room environment, operates closure / desiccant assembly machines, closure bagging machines to produce finished goods according to customer/stock specifications. In addition, rakes parts from presses for work-in-process requirements. Performs quality checks and packages finished goods according to the production order/customer specification.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Performs all tasks necessary to operate mobile equipment according to procedure.
Implements customer required quality requirements by performing specified quality checks/inspections per the customer specification.
Packages and labels finished products according to the Control Plan.
When an order ends, performs a line clearance.
Actively communicates with coworkers – key items within the plant environment on safety, quality, maintenance, production and continuous improvement.
Follows work instructions as needed and may be asked to write, revise and train others to those instructions.
Performs root cause analysis when problems arise to determine if actions can be taken immediately or appropriate personnel need to be called.
Maintains 5S environment in work area, and ability to lift up to 56 pounds, and move 200 pounds.
Sweeps any debris from work area in the production area and machinery.
Retrieve IPC samples during production and perform IPC according to quality instructions.
Collect and document PDS/TGS samples according to quality instructions during validation period.
Adheres to plant and corporate safety policies.
May assist in other areas or perform other duties as required by fluctuating business needs.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Possesses well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
Possesses / acquires mobile equipment license.
Ability to work in a high paced and multi-task environment.
Maintains positive team environment.
Ability to read, write and follow written or verbal instructions.
Ability to speak, read and write English.
Possesses basic math skills.
Understands basic machine operation.
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
