What are the responsibilities and job description for the LICENSED VOCATIONAL NURSE (LVN) SUBSTITUTE/ ON CALL position at Centinela Valley Union High School District?
Under general supervision of an assigned administrator and technical supervision from the School Nurse, performs specialized health services for students in regular and special education; performs a wide variety of nursing duties in support of the school health office, including specialized health care procedures, first aid, screening of ill or injured students and emergency care, administration of medication, maintenance of health records, specialized physical health care procedures in accordance with physicians orders, preparation of reports. Maintains student health records, serves as a technical resource to students, families, and staff concerning health services issues.
LICENSES REQUIREMENTS
• Valid California Vocational Nurse License
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certification comparable to the Standard Red Cross certification
• A valid California driver's license.

This is an OPEN recruitment to establish a list of substitutes for the classification of Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).

The examination process will consist of an evaluation of the supplemental questionnaire and an oral interview.
