Job Description
POSITION: WASC Self-Study Facilitator
REPORTS TO: Principal
Responsibilities
Facilitate the school's accreditation process in collaboration with the school leadership team. The extent/depth of the duties aligned with this responsibility will vary according to the school's placement in the six-year accreditation cycle.
Compensation
According to the Collective Bargaining Agreement (3.15.5), the WASC Facilitator shall be responsible for supporting administration with self-study preparation, and preparing for WASC team visits. Stipend for WASC Facilitator shall be as follows, according to the Six-Year Accreditation Cycle:
Year 1 Five (5) hours annually
Year 2 Five (5) hours annually
Year 3 Mid-Cycle Progress Report Twenty-five (25) hours annually
Year 3 Mid-Cycle Progress Report and Visit Thirty (30) hours annually
Year 4 Five (5) hours annually
Year 5 One hundred (100) hours annually
Year 6 One hundred (100) hours and one (1) release period
