About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team. As an OTA, you will work closely with a qualified Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services to patients in their homes. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing therapy services as planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Occupational Therapist
- Assisting in the implementation of vocational/education programs and activities established by the registered Occupational Therapist
- Designing/adapting equipment and working/living environments to promote patient independence and participation
- Providing therapeutic treatment and instruction to patients as directed by the qualified Occupational Therapist
- Reporting information and observations to the Occupational Therapist and/or Clinical supervisor
- Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records
Requirements
- Current and unrestricted OTA licensure
- Minimum of six months occupational therapist assistant experience preferred
- Home Health experience a plus
- Current CPR certification
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
