Sales Associate

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, handling transactions, and maintaining an organized sales floor. Your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members will be essential in creating a positive shopping experience.

Duties

• Greet and assist customers as they enter the store, providing information about products and services.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Learn to effectively use and maintain paint tinting machines and key cutting machines.
• Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to effectively sell both paint and hardware items and answer customer inquiries.
• Supervise stock levels, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and organized for optimal presentation.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and conducting regular stock checks.
• Communicate with team members to ensure smooth operations and address any customer concerns promptly.
• Uphold store policies and procedures while ensuring a clean and safe shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in painting/contractor work and/or retail store environments is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse customer base.
• Communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
