Co-Ed Cross Country Assistant Coach
Centerville Senior High School is accepting applications for the position of Co-Ed Cross Country Assistant Coach for the 2026–2027 school year.
The successful candidate will assist the head coach in developing and supporting the cross country program while fostering sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and academic success among student-athletes. Responsibilities include assisting with practices, meets, conditioning, and other program activities as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous coaching experience in cross country, track and field, or a related sport.
- Knowledge of distance running, training techniques, conditioning, and race strategy.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate student-athletes while promoting teamwork, personal growth, and a positive team culture.
- Willingness to work collaboratively with the head coach, athletic department, and school staff.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of sportsmanship and representing Centerville-Abington Community Schools in a positive manner.
- Must meet all IHSAA, school corporation, and state coaching requirements.
