We are based in South Jersey, so this is an in-person job with extended hours in our busy Spring season, but flexible winter hours. 'Responsibilities'
' Coordinate transportation and logistics activities to optimize delivery schedules.
- Route trucks and dispatch to drivers.
- Create and file bill of ladings.
- Manage customers’ accounts with delivery specifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards
- Implement strategies to reduce costs for customers.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with carriers, vendors, and suppliers.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for process improvement.
- Negotiate contracts and freight rates with carriers.
- Utilize ERP systems and transportation management systems for tracking.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of proven experience in supply chain management or logistics roles.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and transportation planning.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Experience with fleet management.
- Ability to analyze complex logistics issues and develop effective solutions.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, take initiative, and meet deadlines.

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
