Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Assists pharmacists to provide medication and other health care products to patients.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Fills routine prescriptions with prepackaged pharmaceuticals.
- Keeps maintenance of records on prescriptions and inventory and prepares labels.
- May process insurance claims and provide detailed prescription receipts.
- Resolves problems related to prescription inquiries.
- Responsible for implementing inventory control procedures and ordering merchandise within regulatory guidelines.
- Assists with hiring process and scheduling.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Organizational skills.
