JOB DESCRIPTION: SUMMARY OF POSITION The primary purpose of this position is to oversee and manage assigned program areas and staff effectively. Key duties include coordinating development efforts, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and supervising a team of individuals in providing direct services to clients and the community. This role involves significant decision-making authority to maintain the financial viability of the service areas while collaborating with management staff among various programs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Supervises day-to-day activities of staff. Responsible for appropriate matching of placements with resource homes. Participates in 24/7 on call system. Provides back up and support to community support specialists, and carries cases as necessary to maintain compliance with DCS policy. Conducts chart audits. Maintains referrals, admissions and discharges according to budgeted numbers. Participates in new and expanding Business Development. Participates in DCS-Provider meetings and internal meetings as assigned. Acts in the role of Education Liaison with the school system. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods. Knowledgeable of Centerstone, DCS, Licensing and CARF standards and ensures adherence to them. QUALIFICATIONS Education Level Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field required. Years of Experience Three years case manager experience with adolescents and families required. Two years supervisory experience required. One year management experience required.
