JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provides guidance and support on organizational legal issues, primarily pertaining to contracts/transactions. May be responsible for resolving disputes relating to contracts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Writes, reviews, and advises on legal contracts and agreements.
- Represents the organization in legal matters.
- Researches and analyzes laws and regulations for clients.
- Gathers evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions.
- Negotiating and drafting customer and vendor agreements.
- Coordinating with internal and external experts, including external counsel.
- Acting as an advisor to the leadership team.
- Establishing scalable contracting processes and templates.
- Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.

- Oral and written communication skills.
- Research skills.
- Judgement.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
JD required.
Experience:
0 to 2 years of experience.
Certification/Licensure:
Must be licensed in one of our operating states. (TN, IN, IL, MO, KS, GA, FL )
