Position Overview
As a Career Coach, you will play a critical role in supporting participants as they navigate their career journeys. You will provide hands-on coaching, case management, and employment support while building trusted relationships with participants. This role is primarily office-based with occasional travel within the community, including participant meetings, employer visits, and events. Some evenings or weekends may be required.

Essential Job Function
- Manage a caseload of participants and provide individualized coaching and support
- Guide participants through career exploration, job readiness, training, and postsecondary opportunities
- Conduct assessments to identify participant needs, goals, and eligibility for services
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and placement into programs and employment opportunities
- Develop and track individualized employment plans (IEPs)
- Facilitate job readiness workshops and career development sessions
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure program compliance
- Monitor participant progress and provide ongoing coaching to support success
- Build relationships with employers, workforce partners, and community organizations
- Prepare reports and track outcomes to demonstrate program impact
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in social work, psychology, or a related field
- 35 years of experience in case management, coaching, or workforce development
- Strong communication and relationshipbuilding skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Passion for supporting underserved communities and driving impact
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to build trust and motivate others
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to change
- Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
- Knowledge of workforce development systems and employment services is a plus
