Role Description
CNSO is seeking a full-time Medical Biller to join our team in Wayne, NJ. This on-site role involves managing billing and coding processes, handling insurance claims, following up on payments, resolving denials, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and industry standards. The Medical Biller will collaborate with medical providers, insurance companies, and patients to ensure accurate and timely claim submissions and payments, contributing to the efficient operation of the billing department.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Terminology, especially in neurology and spine-related conditions
- Experience in handling Denials and following up with insurance providers to resolve issues
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and its proper application in medical billing
- Strong understanding of Insurance claims processing, including familiarity with Medicare guidelines
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record management
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment
- Previous experience in the medical billing field is preferred
- Certification in medical billing or coding is a plus
