WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Basic Qualifications: You must possess one of the following- A. Degree: biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR B. Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year of specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Coordinating scientific and public health programs through strategic planning, priority management, and resource coordination; Reviewing scientific and administrative documents to ensure compliance with agency policies, scientific standards, and regulatory requirements; Managing quality management systems, including corrective actions and the resolution of quality-related issues affecting laboratory and program operations; Administering safety and occupational health activities to support organizational compliance with established requirements; and Advising leadership on program planning, resource management, and operational improvements.
