What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Aide position at Centers for Behavioral Health, LLC?
Join our team of dedicated professionals supporting an underserved community – those living with a mental health diagnosis. This opportunity is a part-time position within a supported housing community for individuals with a psychiatric diagnosis.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Simple meal preparation for residents
- Medication monitoring
- Crisis intervention as needed
- Transportation to dr. appts on occasion
- Coaching and guiding residents with Life Skills, cleaning, and hygiene
- Advocacy and Community Integration
- Encouraging activities
- Participating in group activities onsite (special occasion lunches or events)
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays (time & a half pay on holidays). Not every weekend or every holiday but must be available to cover shifts as necessary.
- Assisting Program Director as necessary
Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals with psychiatric diagnoses is preferred
- Working in a supported living or group home environment
- Must have active CPR certification
- Comfortable cooking for residents
- Active drivers license in good standing

- Ability to work 10am-5pm 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)
- Assisting Program Director as necessary

Physical Demands: Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment. Manual dexterity is needed for using a phone and computer keyboard. Cooking and serving food.
