Job Title: Retail Manager Location: Ravenna Position Objective:The retail manager will direct and promote Centerra Country Store in a manner that optimizes the cooperative's market share. They are responsible for improving overall efficiency and coordinating store activities within the community and collectively within Centerra.

Position Responsibilities:A successful retail manager will proactively supervise staff while building profitability and sales. In addition, they will maintain the facility, grounds and all equipment and perform other duties as assigned by management. The manager will have a positive attitude, foster an environment of teamwork within the store and promote a favorable image of the cooperative both internally and externally.
Education: High School Graduate or equivalent.
Pay will be based on experience.

- Lead, hire and manage team members and actively support their growth and promotion
- Improve and maintain personal and team training and product knowledge
- Recognize strengths in others and nurture those to develop long-term employees
- Increase profitability through promotions, merchandising and efficiency
- Inventory control including complete and accurate physical counts annually
- Product margin analysis and reporting
- Effective merchandising including rotation of stock, end-caps and store displays
- Coordinate with cooperative marketing personnel to carry out sales, promotions and events
- Maintain interior and exterior of facility including building, grounds and all equipment
