Position Objective: The Grain Operations Manager is responsible for the overall operation of a grain elevator. - Oversee the daily operations of the grain elevator or processing facility.
- Manage the staff and ensure that they are properly trained and equipped.
- Monitor grain quality and ensure that it meets all standards.
- Inspect grain bins and equipment to prevent damage or loss.
- Comply with all applicable regulations.
- Stay up to date on the latest technologies and practices in the grain industry.
- Loading trains in an efficient manner to keep us from getting charged demerge.
- 5 years of experience in the grain industry.
- Strong understanding of grain handling and storage.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Safety conscious.
