As a Certified Lead Sterile Processing Technician, you will be an invaluable safety expert and trusted leader on our team. As a Certified Lead Sterile Processing Technician, you will be an invaluable safety expert and trusted leader on our team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning, inspecting, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments and trays to ensure every tool works properly and is ready for patient care
- Operating and maintaining sterilization equipment, while keeping detailed records of sterilization cycles, safety checks, and quality standards
- Preparing surgical sets and case carts by reviewing daily schedules and gathering the right instruments and supplies for each procedure
- Managing inventory, organizing supplies in OR storage areas, and working closely with the surgical team to help keep surgeries run smoothly and on time
- Leading and training the Sterile Processing team, sharing updates on new equipment and processes, and setting a positive example to support a safe, high-quality environment where teamwork thrives
- Certificate, or HCA Program Graduate
- (CRCST) Certified Registered Central Service Technician, or (CSPDT) Cert Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician, or (CSIS) Certified Surgical Instrument Specialist
