The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Tech provides high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. Job Summary And Qualifications

What you will do in this role:
- You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
- You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
- You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
- You will release customer with proper post procedure instructions.
- You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
- You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
- Prefer Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or Prefer degree in Radiology Technology.
- Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
- Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
- On Call Required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call back.
