Graphics Production Technician

The Graphics Production Technician will be an integral part of the Graphics department, providing essential support in various aspects of graphics production. This entry-level position will involve a range of tasks, primarily focused on assisting with graphics production, with potential opportunities for computer-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for quality and a willingness to learn and contribute to the team's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Given tasks by the Graphics Manager and carrying out the task efficiently and with quality.
• Being responsible for multiple projects at once and not missing deadlines.
• Must be able to efficiently complete Production related tasks; i.e working with various substrates, apply velcro or tape, test fitting graphics, trimming, laminating, applying Vinyl graphics, assembling metal frames (B-matrix, EZ wall, etc), weedingPre-masking vinyl, and much more.
• Maintaining a clean work environment.
• Being the final quality control for graphic items and working with Sales and or PM on any questionable quality.
• When workload is light in the Graphic department, assist in the shop/warehouse areas, which will come up often.
• Performs other duties as required.

What we're looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent is highly preferred.
• "Sign Making" experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent eye for quality.
• Strong multi-tasking skills. Ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
• Experience with vinyl, laminating, mounting and vinyl application.
• Understanding in Microsoft Office Suite or related software and other simple computer functions.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Eye for quality issues and not accepting poor quality.
• Knowledge of woodworking, construction, and various tools.
• Knowledge with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, IndesignPhotoshop) a huge plus!
• Knowledge of different printing processes and knowledge of RIP softwares also a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to be on their feet all day.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Ability to climb ladders up to 20' high.
• No problems with bending down or potentially even working on hands and knees on occasion.
• Must be able to distinguish colors and shapes and an eye for quality flaws.
