What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Mental Health Professional position at Centerpoint Healing?
About Centerpoint Healing
Centerpoint Healing is an integrative mental health group practice in Denver, CO, serving clients ages 5 and up. Most of the clients we serve are individuals healing from complex childhood trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and attachment wounds.
Our therapists are trained in evidence-informed modalities including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, and trauma-informed yoga. We opened in January 2026 and are growing thoughtfully, because the right clinical and cultural fit matters more to us than filling a seat quickly.
The Role
We're looking for an experienced, licensed therapist who is energized by working as part of a small, close-knit team and who brings both clinical depth and genuine relational warmth to their work with clients navigating acute, complex, or chronic trauma.
Day to day, you'll carry a caseload of individual clients, participate in group consultation twice a month, and invest in your own ongoing clinical development. You'll also build referral relationships with community providers and partners over time.
You'll work a hybrid schedule with two in-person days at our Denver office, with flexibility to see clients via telehealth for the remaining sessions. This is a W-2 position with an intentional caseload cap of 22–25 client-hours per week, structured to support clinician sustainability alongside the quality of care we offer clients.
Requirements
- Valid Colorado licensure in good standing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Certification or advanced training in EMDR/AF-EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), or both
- Demonstrated recent experience providing trauma-informed care across diverse presentations and populations
- Comfort with telehealth platforms, HIPAA-compliant digital workflows, and a hybrid work environment
- Ability to be in our Denver office two days per week
- Availability to offer evening hours to clients two days per week
- Strong administrative habits, including timely clinical documentation and independent schedule management
We're a specialty practice, and all of our clinicians hold training beyond their Master's degree. Candidates without additional certifications or modality-specific training will not be considered at this time. Because the majority of our clients prefer in-person sessions, we are not able to consider candidates who work exclusively via telehealth.
Strongly Preferred
- Somatic Experiencing training or experience with another somatic modality
- Experience with or curiosity about psychedelic-assisted therapy
- Group therapy facilitation or workshop experience
What We Offer
- Compensation: W-2 employment with 60% of net collections for your direct client sessions
- Estimated annual earnings for a 22–25 client-hour caseload over 48 billable weeks: $95,000–$108,000 (actual earnings depend on caseload size and payer rates and mix)
- Bi-weekly pay
- Billing services and insurance credentialing support
- Hybrid flexibility between our Denver office and telehealth
- A small, collaborative team with genuine peer support and group clinical consultation
- A caseload shaped around your clinical strengths and areas of interest
- A practice culture rooted in curiosity, ongoing learning, and whole-person care
- This position does not include health, dental, vision, or retirement benefits
