This role combines local driving, loading and unloading, equipment operation, and inventory organization to ensure efficient and on-time distribution.

Responsibilities
- Operate a 26’ box truck in compliance with all applicable state and federal DOT transportation laws
- Safely transport and deliver materials while obeying traffic laws and company safety policies
- Maneuver truck into loading and unloading areas at warehouses and job sites
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using forklifts, order pickers, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment
- Unload empty skids and return equipment to designated storage areas
- Complete monthly Vehicle Inspection Reports (VIR)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of truck interior and exterior
- Support general warehouse duties as needed
- Maintain strong safety awareness for yourself, crew members, and job site personnel
- Provide professional and courteous customer service at delivery locations
- Use GPS systems to navigate delivery routes efficiently
- Perform additional related duties as assigned
- Valid driver’s license in good standing and ability to pass DOT physical
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience operating a 26’ box truck
- Regulars hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00a - 4:00p with the potential for additional OT.
- Warehouse experience strongly preferred
- Experience operating a forklift, order picker, and hand trucks preferred but not required
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Dependable, punctual, and able to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Repeated and frequent ability to lift, from floor to above head 50 lbs
- Ability to drive, sit, stand, climb, kneel, bend, lift, crawl, squat, reach and utilize both hands and feet
- Requires the ability to sit for extended periods, stand, bend, walk, communicate via telephone, computer and/or face-to-face contact, vision to monitor, and use basic office equipment such as a personal computer, copier and fax machines regularly during the course of work. Will be required to operate vehicle for Company business. Work is primarily performed in and out of a warehouse environment
