What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Technician position at Centerline?
Overview
Under direct supervision of Civil Foreman, perform masonry tasks including building forms and pouring concrete pads for equipment placement, structural shelter foundations, tower foundations.
What Will You Do
- Experience preferred with core drills for shelter entry and drilling/setting concrete anchors
- Civil construction, such as but not limited to; earth moving, equipment operation, retaining earth/water, concrete/asphalt, fencing, demolition, carpentry, roofing, and painting,
- Electrical experience and grounding (cad-weld) is a bonus
- Being able to read construction drawings is a bonus
- Ability to work independently and as a team making sound decisions on behalf of the company.
- Willing to learn and grow
- Communicates needs, problems and questions to civil foreman

What You Will Need
- Medical and physical ability to perform duties of the position
- Ability to maintain a valid driver's license, with a driving record that is within guidelines of the Driver's Insurability Agreement
- Ability to communicate fluently with Team Members, Management Team and other employees
- Ability to learn from various instruction methods, as well as self-study
- Ability to read and understand general job-related documents
- Ability to climb and work at elevated heights (rooftops and ladders)
