Center Point Contractors, Inc. is a full service construction company with 18 years in the business. We specialize in construction, renovation and maintenance in Northwest Arkansas and the surrounding areas. We are looking for reliable, self-motivated individuals eager to be an essential part of our team.
Center Point Contractors is currently seeking a GMAW welder.
All applicants must have the following:
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Dependable work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor
- Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug testing.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds when required.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in extreme weather conditions.
- MIG welding experience in a fabrication shop.
- Stick welding and field work experience is a plus.
- Must be able to work toward AWS welding certification.
If you are considered for this position, you will be required to demonstrate your welding skill.
- Safely operate and maintain assigned equipment and tools.
- Knowledge of and ability to operate shop and/or field equipment preferred
- Knowledge of blue prints and weld symbols and experience with structural steel and CNC machines is a plus
May require occasional night and/or weekend work.
