What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instrument Technician position at CENTER ONE SURGERY CENTER?
We are a busy ambulatory surgery center currently seeking a full-time Instrument Technician who will be responsible for the care and preparation of surgical instruments. The technician will maintain and establish inventory levels by checking supplies and instruments. The technician will perform the appropriate testing of all sterilizers, decontamination, assembly, inspection, packaging, sterilization, storage, and keep accurate records as well as ordering supplies for the area. This candidate will also have knowledge of standard precautions, aseptic technique and principles of sterilization and instrument handling.
Candidate must have 2 years' experience and a BLS card. No nights, no weekends, no holidays. Four weeks paid vacation, many benefits, and quarterly bonuses possible after probation period.
Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent.
Instrument technician experience, 2 years or equivalent experience in hospital Central Supply department.
Required Licensure And Certification
No license required.
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
