What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desk Associate/Event Coordinator position at Center of Developing Entrepreneurs (CODE)?
The CODE Building in downtown Charlottesville has a part-time opening (2-3 days per week) for someone to staff/manage the lobby desk and coordinate events in the Irving Theater.
Our lobby desk is open 8am-5pm and is the initial point of contact for all visitors and deliveries to CODE. You will work alongside and closely with the reception staff for Codebase Coworking as well as the administrative teams for our major tenants.
Superb guest relations and organizational skills and the ability to work unsupervised are critical for this role. Event coordination experience is not required but you will be the main point of contact from initial inquiry through event day.
Relevant experience in a professional business setting is required.
CODE offers above-market hourly wages for this important position.
