Center of Attention Preschool is opening its doors, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic, qualified Lead Preschool Teacher for our 3-Year-Old Classroom to become part of our founding team.

What You’ll Do
● Create a warm, welcoming classroom where every child feels known, respected, and encouraged to explore.
● Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences that promote language, literacy, math, science, creativity, and critical thinking.
● Foster independence, confidence, and responsibility through meaningful daily routines and hands-on experiences.
● Support children’s growing social-emotional skills by encouraging empathy, cooperation, communication, and problem-solving.
● Build strong partnerships with families through open, positive communication.
● Observe and respond to each child’s individual developmental needs.
● Collaborate with fellow educators to help establish a positive, supportive, and professional school culture.
Qualifications
● Must meet all North Carolina DCDEE requirements for a Lead Teacher.
● Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
● Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
● Ability to create engaging learning experiences that support the whole child.
● Commitment to inclusion, respect, and individualized learning.
● CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
