Apartment Maintenance Technician
Immediate Opening for a full-time maintenance technician in an apartment community. Experience with knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical and HVAC is preferred, but not necessary. We are willing to train a motivated individual. Person willing to live onsite is a plus. Hourly rate of $17-$19, to start, depending on experience. Work schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30AM – 4:00PM and rotation for after-hours emergency calls, including weekend emergency calls.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Electrical and plumbing
A/C and heating systems
Appliances
Drywall repairs
Grounds keeping
Resident service requests
Repair and improve vacant and occupied units
Snow removal
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Ability to work on-call
Valid driver's license
Team player
Reliable transportation
Own basic hand tools
Positive attitude
Good communication skills
Ability to pass background check
