By using social workers and a streamlined training model, Center M Connective enables clinics to expand behavioral health capacity, generate additional revenue, and improve patient access to perinatal mental wellness support.
Role Description The Center M Connective Director is a full-time, on-site, remote or hybrid role based in Portland, OR, responsible for leading the strategic, operational, and programmatic functions of the organization. This role oversees the delivery and continuous improvement of the Center M program, including telehealth group sessions, app-enabled services, and clinic partnership implementation. The Director will manage relationships with prenatal care clinics, guide integration of the model into clinical workflows and billing practices, and support social workers and other staff in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising team members, managing budgets and grants, monitoring program metrics and outcomes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and privacy standards. The Director will also collaborate on product and app enhancements, support training and workforce development, represent Center M Connective with external partners and funders, and contribute to strategic planning and organizational growth.
Qualifications
- Leadership and management skills, including team supervision, strategic planning, and program oversight in a healthcare or nonprofit setting.
- Experience in perinatal, behavioral, or mental health, with a strong understanding of evidence-based, preventive care models and telehealth delivery.
- Operational and clinic-integration skills, such as familiarity with outpatient workflows, billing and reimbursement (including CPT codes and CMS trends), and quality improvement.
- Relationship-building and communication skills for partnering with clinics, funders, community organizations, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Comfort working with digital health tools and platforms, including app-based screening, data dashboards, and secure, HIPAA-compliant systems.
- Ability to use data for decision-making, including monitoring program metrics, outcomes, and financial performance.
