Job Summary
Under the direction of the site administrator and the close, ongoing clinical supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the Registered Behavior Technician serves as an instructional specialist for students with increased needs determined by the IEP team. They have advanced skills, knowledge, and training essential for delivering behavior analysis services. They will support students in preventing behavior excesses and deficits, teach appropriate replacement behaviors, positively shape appropriate behaviors through reinforcement strategies, and reduce the inadvertent reinforcement of maladaptive behaviors to ensure student safety and success.
Requirements / Qualifications
Registered Behavioral Technician Certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board High School Diploma or equivalent. A minimum of one (1) year of experience working with children with special needs.
