Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food items according to company recipes, standards, and food safety guidelines
- Ensure all food displays, warmers, and grab-and-go items are fully stocked and visually appealing during peak hours
- Monitor food freshness, rotate stock, and properly label products
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary food preparation area in compliance with health regulations
- Receive and stock food and supply deliveries as needed
- Provide prompt, friendly customer service, including taking food orders and answering questions
- Operate the cash register accurately, including handling cash, credit/debit transactions, and issuing receipts
- Assist with general store operations, including cleaning, stocking shelves, and maintaining overall store appearance
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory levels and food production needs
- Previous food service, retail, or customer service experience preferred
- Basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register/POS system
- Knowledge of food safety practices (ServSafe certification a plus, if applicable)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality, especially for early morning shifts
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–50 pounds as needed
