The Center for Veterinary Care Millbrook is a boutique practice providing specialty care on a routine basis. Our clientele is often referred from other practices as unsolvable medical mysteries. Practitioners in our office have diagnosed first of their kind diseases in the Western Hemisphere and been published by the CDC Journal of Emerging Infectious Diseases. The practice is a hub of academic level medicine in a private setting, allowing our doctors to view a full spectrum of practice unparalleled in its breadth and complexity, including oncological therapeutic development and specialty surgery, alongside exceptional routine patient care. The practice is nestled in the hills of the Hudson Valley in the heart of horse county, yet still just ninety minutes from Manhattan. The area also boasts convenient locations for sport shooting and is proximal to world renowned rock climbing locations. Additionally we are located down the road from the Carry Institute of Ecosystems. 

Role Description

This is a four day per week (9:00am-5:00pm) plus alternate Saturday (9:00am-1:00pm), on-site Veterinarian role based in Millbrook, New York. The Veterinarian will be responsible for diagnosing and treating medical conditions in pets, performing surgical and dental procedures, providing preventive care, and educating pet owners on best practices for their animals' health.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in diagnosing and treating small animal medical conditions
• Preferable experience with surgery for small animals
• Preferable skills in utilizing diagnostic tools, including ultrasound and endoscopy
• Current veterinary license in the state of New York
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
• 3-years experience OR post graduate training equivalent

Salary and Benefits Package

• $150,000/year base plus commission and equity
