Job Summary (this is for city's within the OC county not just Santa Ana)As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum. You will implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and engage in meaningful interactions that promote learning and growth. Your compassionate approach will help enhance the quality of life for those you serve while fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.What you’ll doImplement individualized behavior intervention plans to support clients’ needs and goals.Collect and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments.Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), promoting independence and self-care skills.Provide direct support in teaching social skills, communication, and behavioral management techniques.Maintain accurate medical documentation, including care plans and medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.Collaborate with families and other professionals to create a cohesive support system for each client.Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and special education methodologies.High school diploma or equivalent (required)Ability to work with children and individuals with developmental disabilities (required)Willingness to complete RBT training and certification — no prior experience needed, we provide full training and supportStrong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members (preferred)Familiarity with behavioral therapy techniques, ABA principles, or medical documentation practices (preferred)Previous experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum (preferred)Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs (preferred)Why you’ll love it hereWe are dedicated to empowering our team members both professionally and personally.
