What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Call Center Coordinator position at Center for Reproductive Medicine?

We currently have an immediate opening for a motivated professional to be a part of our high-volume call center. The successful candidate will be working our of our Winter Park, FL office. This job may be performed 100% remotely upon successful completion of training. Training takes approximately 3-6 months and is entirely onsite at our Winter Park, FL location. You must be able to work in-person at our Winter Park, Florida office for the entire duration of the training period. This is a full-time position with a schedule of M-F 8:00am – 4:30pm
Assignments include but are not limited to:
- Assesses patient needs, answers general questions and schedules appropriate types of appointments.
- Maintains patient satisfaction through coordination with physicians and other teams within the practice.
- Provides direction and instruction for the completion of patient documentation and all items needed by the practice.
- Obtains insurance information for patients for verification of benefits by financial department.
- Manages cancellations and physician schedules to minimize any clinical downtime.
- Enters all patient inquiries into the appropriate databases/systems.
- Assists with all financial counseling and patient services activities as needed.
Applicants must have excellent communications and computer skills; capable of multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment; Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred. Experience working in a call center environment is ideal. Knowledge of women’s health is a Plus.
