CRM is a premier medical practice specializing in the comprehensive evaluation and treatment of infertility, providing each patient “every conceivable chance for success.” We seek a full time Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist who is patient centered and empathetic to assist our Minneapolis clinic in meeting patient care needs.
Working in our Andrology and Embryology laboratories, you will:
- Serve as backup phlebotomist and perform venipuncture according to protocol
- Answer patient phone calls, chart, and order labs in EMR
- Stock and clean rooms, as needed
- Sterilize equipment
- Staff andrology department front desk – check in and room patients, schedule appointments, answer phones
- Perform laboratory quality control activities
- Set-up and assist the physician during egg retrieval procedures
Work Schedule:
This full-time position is scheduled work 40 hours per week with rotating weekends and holidays.
- Monday – Thursday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Every third (3rd) weekend (Saturday and Sunday) | 7:00 am – 11:00 am
Requirements:
- Current Phlebotomy skills required; certification a plus
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in healthcare setting
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks with accuracy
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Computer and technical skills required – EMR, scanning, faxing, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
