JOB SUMMARY
Center for Positive Changes (CFPC) is a 6-bed, Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP), committed to evaluating and addressing adolescent and transitional age youth’s unique behavioral health needs. We are seeking a Youth Support Specialist to join our team who has high ethical standards and a desire to positively impact the lives of youth and families involved with Child Welfare Services and the Justice System. The Youth Support Specialist will provide one-on-one services to youth exhibiting high-risk behaviors. The Youth Support Specialist will support youth in building healthy social and emotional skills to cope with life stressors, promoting success and independence without reliance on one-on-one support. The youth support specialist will work closely with CFPC residential staff, CFPC managers, CFPC mental health team, social workers, probation officers, and other significant support people in each youth’s life to help coordination of care.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
A qualified candidate must possess one (1) or more of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree (if hired after January 1, 2017)
Or
- At least 5 years of experience working at STRTP or similar population.
Salary : $24 - $30
