What are the responsibilities and job description for the Theater/Acting Instructor position at Center for Performance Arts and Learning?
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a drama, theater, acting and stage presence, to hold classes for beginner level multi age theatre sessions - improv, writing for stage, one act plays at our multi-cultural studio. Class timings would depend on your availability.
Associate (Preferred)
Experience:
- Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
Our student base includes young kids, teens, and adults, preschool sessions. If you enjoy working with diverse groups of people and have a love for teaching, we want to hear from you!
Duties
- Create and deliver engaging lessons in your area(s) of expertise
- Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their development
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience
Skills
- Experience working with children and adults of various ages
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Passion for continuous learning and professional development
