The Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist will join the multi-disciplinary team at the Center for Pediatric Therapies (CPT) in Lynchburg, Virginia. Part time or full time caseload. CF supervision is available. -*Competitive salary based on experience*
CPT is a full service outpatient clinic serving children from birth through age 21 in Central Virginia. CPT offers a multidisciplinary approach to treat a variety of neurological and developmental disorders. The current opening for a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist would service the school-based population and work a school calendar schedule in the private day setting.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for the assessment of referred patients and providing direct patient care per physician signed treatment plans to improve speech, language, and feeding skills. The SLP works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including OTs, PTs, and service coordinators.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must have graduated from an accredited school with a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Virginia license as a Speech-Language Pathologist or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure
- ASHA certification
- Current CPR certification
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy (preferred, not required)
- Position is open to new graduates and CFY candidates
