In a career as an outpatient Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at Center for Pediatric Therapies, you join a dynamic interdisciplinary team of Behavioral Analysts, Speech/Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Physical therapists improving the quality of the lives of youth and families every day. This role will provide psychotherapy and other clinical services to children, adolescents, and families in the Behavioral Health Clinic.

This position begins as PRN/part-time (15–25 hours/week) with the opportunity to grow into a full-time caseload. Compensation is structured as hourly pay for both direct and indirect services. In some cases, higher rates may apply for billable sessions depending on experience and role structure

Responsibilities:

  • Provides clinical services to children and families for Outpatient Behavioral Health Services.
  • Provides psychotherapy to children and families which includes but is not limited to clinical assessments, individual, group and family therapy.
  • Provides psychological assessments and treatment for youth referred to the Behavioral Health Clinic.
  • Conducts psychotherapy sessions utilizing appropriate interventions including such models as CBT, and Emotionally Focused Therapy
  • Provides therapy notes, treatment plans, and other documentation in accordance with client record protocols.
  • Provides documentation for third party payment.
  • Participates in educational programs, in-service meetings, clinician meetings, and workshops to enhance professional development and maintain knowledge of current industry standards and clinical techniques.

Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of behavior change theories and their application.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, technologies, and trends.
  • Ability to collect, synthesize, and analyze data relating to evaluation/treatment plans.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Psychology or related field from a fully accredited university and 2 years of related experience.
  • Experience providing child, adolescent, and/or family therapy as well as experience in an outpatient pediatric behavioral health setting, conducting evaluations/intakes.
  • Must be a licensed mental health professional in the state in which you are practicing.

Pay: From $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
