GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: To represent Center for Orthopaedics in a courteous, efficient and friendly manner by receiving patients all patients to the Center for Orthopaedics office.

- Greets and checks in patients in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Obtains updated insurance cards and identification cards as needed upon arrival.
- Ensures that insurance verification specialist has verified each patient's insurance and that the insurance is active.
- Ensures that the patient updates his/her registration according to CFO guidelines.
- Advises and directs patients, including walk-ins, appearing at the front desk about registration procedures
- While Checking patients in, monitors charts for credit status of delinquent Accounts or surgery deposits required and directs them to appropriate business office personnel.
