What are the responsibilities and job description for the 4-5 day full time Surgical Staff Nurse - RN position at Center for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery?
Oral Surgery Group seeking an RN to work 4-5 days each week.
covers offices in Grovetown and Evans
Provides nursing care including starting
IV’s for patients undergoing surgical -
procedures.
Provides comfort and support for preoperative
patients.
Participates in the care of patients receiving
conscious sedation.
Administers prescribed
medications & monitors vital signs,
Monitors, records and communicates
patient condition as appropriate utilizing
computerized documentation systems.
Required Job Qualifications
include:
Current licensure as an RN in Georgia
and South Carolina preferred but
one state required
BLS required upon hire; ACLS and
PALS required within 3 months of
hire
IV Skills a requirement
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment
and the ability to work with
minimal supervision in a fast paced
environment.
- EMR experience an asset
Pay: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour
