Client Support Specialist
The Center for Nonprofit Law is a mission driven, boutique law firm based in beautiful Eugene, Oregon. For over three decades, we have provided trusted legal counsel to thousands of nonprofit organizations shaping a more just, equitable, and sustainable society, from social justice and humanitarian organizations to local arts, education and community-based groups. Our office’s purpose is to provide highly specialized legal services and organizational support for these nonprofits at an affordable cost in order to help them accomplish their valuable role in our society.
The Center for Nonprofit Law is a small office with fewer than 10 employees. We depend on each person to be a valuable part of our team, to complete various goals, communicate effectively with others, and contribute to the positive environment we have built.
We are looking for a detail oriented and adaptable Client Support Specialist who is eager to learn, has excellent verbal and written communication skills, works well with a team, and passionately shares similar values with our office and the nonprofit organizations we work for.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service
Ability to work independently and on a team
Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Ability to set priorities and organize workload while handling multiple tasks and responsibilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat and CRM systems
Ability to take initiative and work proactively
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Ability to accept and give feedback to others
Professional demeanor; ability to interact positively and effectively with clients and staff
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Duties include but are not limited to:
Answering phones and emails promptly
Scheduling multiple attorneys' calendars accurately and thoughtfully
Document formatting
Maintaining physical and electronic files
Firm marketing
Filing with government agencies (SOS, DOJ, IRS)
Other administrative tasks as assigned
Preferred Experience:
Experience working for a law firm or tax office
Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree with relevant experience
Experience working with or for Nonprofit organizations
Clerical or administrative office experience
Social media and marketing experience
