About the Role
The Programs Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day success of CMAP’s in-person, virtual, and hybrid programs. This role blends administrative coordination, customer service, light tech support, and event logistics. Whether you’re setting up a hybrid classroom, managing program registration, or welcoming guests at our front desk, you’ll be at the heart of our mission.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate Program Operations:
- Manage registrations, update the website, promote events, and send participant communications
- Support project planning and collect post-program evaluations
Facilitate Virtual & Hybrid Programs:
- Provide tech support, setup AV equipment, assist with delivery, and evaluate success
Support the Evergreen Forum:
- Assist with course logistics, communications, and participant engagement
Front Desk & Event Support:
- Provide professional hospitality at the Suzanne Patterson Building
- Help set up and break down rooms, including light furniture and tech setup
Front Desk & Event Support:
- Work with the Communications team to promote programs
- Represent CMAP at community events (some evenings/weekends required)

Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in human services, education, or community programming
- Experience in program coordination, customer service, or event support
- Tech-savvy and confident with hybrid learning platforms
- Able to lift/move up to 25 pounds and work on-site at community program locations

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
