The Center for Living and Learning (CLL) is seeking Direct Care Staff with a part time shift opening:
- Day Shift: Sunday 8am to 5pm

CLL is a nonprofit residential treatment facility that provides 24-hour care for persons with mental illness(es) and/or physical challenges on a serene 30-acre farm on Old Hillsboro Road in Franklin, TN. Our goal is to provide the highest quality of care and support for each resident in a vibrant and positive community setting.

We are licensed by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (TDMHSAS). Each resident at the Center is a willing and active participant in their program, med compliant, stabilized and pursuing personal goals.

Job Responsibilities
- Support residents' efforts to achieve goals in their plans of care.
- Supervision of resident schedule and routine, including assisting with ordinary household chores, grooming and self-care plans.
- Document resident status and progress, and as needed when incidents occur outside normal behavior/routine.
- Prepare resident meals/snacks as needed.
- Prepare, administer and document medications twice per shift complying with processes set by the TN Department of Mental Health (TDMHSA).
- Comply with TDMHSA policies and procedures in conjunction with rules and regulations of CLLN, Inc.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma is required
- Must be at least 21 years old
- 2 years of experience in mental health services is preferred
- Occupational Therapy training is preferred
- CPR/first aid certification / CLL will provide training if needed
- Willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Professional, friendly and cooperative attitude
