Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties may vary based on specific program and position, and may include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist individuals in identifying and articulating their needs for services and supports.
• Coordinate, negotiate, and facilitate a comprehensive array of services and supports to address identified goals and desired outcomes.
• Provide behavioral intervention services, training, and support tailored to the needs of the assigned caseload.
• Ensure that planned services and supports are effectively implemented and properly documented.
• Connect individuals with appropriate community resources, services, and supports as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all meetings, progress notes, and activities related to individual service plans.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties may vary based on specific program and position, and may include but are not limited to the following:

The BCBA PROGRAM SPECIALIST will work under direct supervision of the Chief of Children Services. The BCBA Program Specialist duties include but is not limited to the following:

· Ensuring the overall quality of day-to-day service delivery

· Providing clinical consultation to staff

· Participating in decisions regarding the admission and/or discharging of individual children to and from the program

· Clinical review of all behavioral intervention procedures

· Developing staff and parent training curricula

· Conducting staff training

· Conducting parent training

· Developing, implementing, and supervising evidence-based services

· Summarizing and reviewing child outcome data to direct future program development

· Providing feedback on child’s progress to the family

· Complying with all notice or reporting requirements under contract

· Performing administrative and other management duties consistent with this job title that are in direct support of the program

The work environment is such as to require sitting, walking, lifting, bending, and the full range of physical and mental activities normally associated with care giving.

· Must have a master's or doctoral degree from an accredited institution of higher education in psychology, behavior analysis, or a related field;

· Must have documented graduate-level coursework in behavioral assessment and intervention, selecting outcomes and strategies, behavior change procedures, experimental methods, and measuring and interpreting behavioral data;

· Must have at least one year of experience in providing services to children 3 through 15 years of age with diagnoses on the autism spectrum;

· Must have knowledge of typical child development for children 3 through 15 years of age; and

Duties may vary based on specific program and position, and may include but are not limited to the following:

· Provide Specialized Skills Training (SST) and Service Coordination for an individual caseload of clients ages 0-3.

· Support development across domains with an emphasis on strengthening cognitive skills, positive behaviors and social interactions while respecting the diversity of families.

· Services are provided in the child and families natural environment, promoting parent or caregiver and child interactions within the context of everyday activities and routines in the home and community.

· Demonstrate dedication to public service, commitment to excellence in service delivery, personal integrity and recognition of the individual worth and common needs of all people.

• Bilingual speaking (Spanish) is a plus.
• Knowledge of child development and experience working with young children and families is preferred.
