Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Springfield, MA, for a Healthcare Data Analyst. The Healthcare Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting healthcare data, developing reports, and providing actionable insights to drive operational efficiency and improved outcomes. Key responsibilities include data collection, data cleaning, statistical analysis, and creating visualizations or dashboards to communicate findings effectively. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends, support decision-making processes, and ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in data analysis, statistical methods, and tools such as Excel, SQL, R or Python
- Experience in creating visualizations and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar software
- Strong knowledge of healthcare data standards, analytics, and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA)
- Problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate with teams and communicate findings effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Health Informatics, Statistics, or a related field
- Experience in the healthcare or nonprofit sector is a plus
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
