What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Start Teacher position at Center for Holistic Learning?
QUALIFICATION
Preschool is currently seeking to hire a Headstart Teacher that is caring, hard working, self-motivated and able instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual, social and physical growth. Every teaching candidates must display love for children, be team-oriented, cooperative and able work well with all staff as well as students and parents.
Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields is preferred but not required.
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build rapport with children & families
- Positive and patient
- Must be able to pass a DCF background check
- Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related (Preferred)
- DCF 45 Hrs Training (Required)
- CDA or equivalent Staff Credentials
- CPR & First Aid (Preferred)
