Center for Hearing and Communication
New York, NY (3 days in office)
Reports to: Executive Director
About CHC
For more than a century, the Center for Hearing and Communication (CHC) has helped children and adults with hearing loss, deafness, and listening challenges connect to the world around them. Through expert clinical care, education, and emotional support, CHC serves individuals and families at every age and stage of hearing health, all under one roof. This breadth of care is unique.
Despite this impact, CHC is often described as “the best kept secret.” We are seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to help change that.
Many individuals and families first seek information about hearing loss at moments of uncertainty—often without clear guidance on where to turn. CHC is uniquely positioned to be a trusted, first point of contact, offering both clinical expertise and a comprehensive, human-centered approach to care.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for a mission-driven marketing professional who is equally strong in strategy and execution. As Marketing & Communications Manager, you will lead CHC’s brand, digital presence, and communications, with responsibility for increasing awareness, driving client engagement, and strengthening CHC’s visibility.
This person will own CHC’s marketing strategy end-to-end, from digital campaigns and content to cross-departmental collaboration, and will manage a portfolio of channels, vendors, and initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong writing and storytelling skills with digital fluency, sound judgment, and a practical, results-oriented mindset.
