The Center for Evaluation and Counseling is seeking compassionate, dedicated, and skilled mental health professional to join our DCPP (Division of Child Protection and Permanency) program. We are looking for LACs, LPCs, LSWs, LCSWs, LAMFTs, and LMFTs who are passionate about helping children, adolescents, adults, and families heal, grow, and thrive.
This position offers a unique opportunity to provide both outpatient therapy services and forensic assessments to individuals involved with the child welfare system. Clinicians work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team committed to high-quality, trauma-informed care.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy services.
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning.
- Complete court-related and DCPP-referred forensic evaluations and assessments.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with DCPP caseworkers, attorneys, schools, healthcare providers, and other community partners.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case consultations and clinical supervision.
- Utilize evidence-based, trauma-informed treatment approaches.
- Prepare professional reports and recommendations when indicated.
QualificationsRequired
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
- New Jersey licensure as:
- LAC or LPC
- LSW or LCSW
- LAMFT or LMFT
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
Preferred
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
- Experience with DCPP-involved populations.
- Background in forensic evaluations, custody-related assessments, or court-involved cases.
- Training in trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatment modalities.
