The Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join its Editorial team as an Editorial Intern.
The intern will assist with CEPA’s written output on Europe’s Edge, including article drafting, research, and editorial support. Additionally, the intern will collaborate with the Communications team on content-related initiatives. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in writing, editing, and digital media within an international policy-focused environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong research, writing, and communication skills, along with a keen interest in transatlantic policy issues and digital media. The candidate must be proactive, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and draft articles, blog posts, and policyrelated content for Europe’s Edge;
- Assist in editing and factchecking articles and publications;
- Support the Communications team with content creation for digital platforms, including social media and newsletters;
- Monitor and compile relevant news and policy developments in CEPA’s focus areas;
- Provide logistical and administrative support for editorial and communications activities;
- Collaborate with the Editorial and Communications teams on strategic initiatives to enhance CEPA’s digital presence.
Education:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Journalism, International Relations, Political Science);
- Minimum junior or senior standing in undergraduate studies, or enrollment in a graduate program.
- Strong research, analytical, and writing abilities;
- Excellent editing skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with digital content platforms (e.g., WordPress) and social media tools;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools (Teams);
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Demonstrated interest in CEPA’s mission and focus areas, including European policy and transatlantic relations;
- Basic knowledge of global and regional politics, media trends, and policymaking processes.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Team player with a proactive approach;
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn in a fastpaced environment.
- Commitment to three months, with agreedupon hours per week, between 2040 hours;
- Ability to work in CEPA’s office or remotely, depending on role requirements.
